𝗠𝗶𝘁𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘃𝗼 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗙𝗤-𝟯𝟰𝟬 𝗠𝗥 is a highly original and entirely unmodified example of the renowned rally-derived performance hero.

Powered by an iconic 2.0-litre turbocharged 4G63 inline-four turbocharged petrol engine, it produces 345bhp and 435 Nm of torque at 4600rpm to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, which officially translates into 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

The MR (Mitsubishi Racing) edition of the Evo VIII was launched in 2004 and featured a revised front spoiler, Bilstein dampers, lightweight alloy wheels, an aluminium roof, and various carbon-fibre components. A total weight saving of 20kg was achieved and the car’s centre of gravity was lowered, leading to improved roadholding and handling.
